My husband just called to tell me that a friend of his who lives up in Briggs Terrace was just called and told that they should prepare for a possible evacuation. Anyone else hear anything like this???

I wouldn't doubt it. Tony was up there as the flames were cresting at Briggs Terrace. They wouldn't have to even ask me, I'd already be GONE

When we drove back from Pasadena at around 1:30pm, could tell the fire was growing. Lots of black smoke, flames visible, and larger plumes. The news now is saying it's at 300 acres. Winds are not too bad, but remember fire generates its own wind. Sorry-true fact. I think the last time that area burned was 1976.

This morning in N. Sunland it was quite windy!! My umbrella in back tried to blow away. From our front door, I have a perfect view of the fire. I hope they get it out quickly!! There's a lot of communication towers up at Mt. Lukens and I have an 84 year old dad in La Crescenta that may need help if he's forced to leave.

here is the news on the fire! 300 A. and still burning. Ashes coming down everywhere. Hasnt burned in 25 years. Yikes! They named it the "station fire". Only 10% contained.

Did I read "evacuation" on Penn.?

Man I just went up Pennsylvania and didn't see any sign of anything going on. Briggs however is all blocked off. No one gets in unless you live there then you can only get out!
