Today & once last week I have seen a orangish tan dog with medium length hair. It has a collar but won't let me anywhere near him/her. Today the dog looked much thinner and more scruffy than last week, and it is breaking my heart. If anyone is looking for this dog, he was on Kyle st between Mather & Woodward. I have no idea what breed the dog is, but would guess the weight to be around 40 pounds when healthy or maybe a bit more.

No - this dog had longer fur. Unless there is a longer haired version of that breed then I would say no. I saw it again yesterday, and tried again in vain to get near it. I have tried going to the dog, I have tried getting the dog to come to me; I don't know what to do. He/she is around for just a second and then takes off. I feel so bad!

Leave food/water? Are you near coyotes? Do you have a nice dog that could lure it to you?

We see coyotes regularly so leaving food is out. Our dog would probably scare the stray away more than anything. :(

Awww man. :( Poor thing. It's hard to catch them when they are scared and untrusting of humans.

Hello,
I was in Sunland this weekend and heavily flyered Woodward/Kyle/Mather area. Thank you for your leads, any more would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a photo of Odie. Do you think there's any chance this is the dog you've been seeing? http://www.faceook.com/odiegary.

Please feel free to share this link.

Thank you!

I clicked on the link, but it didn't take me to a picture. It took me to a google search instead.

sorry about that! I'm trying to upload a photo or the actual flyer, but i'm getting a "sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached" message. I will try again later. I did post a photo on "k9 lover"'s thread.

thank you.
