Found Saturday 8-20-11:
Young male black and white cat wearing white flea collar. Seen in various locations near Mary Bell/La Canada Way intersection during the day; around 7 pm he was chased up a tree by dogs and I got him down and took him home. Seeks out people, affectionate and very playful, seems like he must be someone's pet.

Glad you got him. The coyotes have been brutal in that area.

Will keep my eyes peeled for signs and will ask my neighbors.
