Need A/C check up

Anybody have a favorite/good A/C fellow?
Have SCE summer program, and no green light,
turned off breaker, back on but A/C does not
come on.

Help, Sm

You may have 2 fuses in the electrical box at the outside unit. If the indoor fan is running, and the outside unit is not, try replacing the fuses. Any hardware store can test the fuses. They look like a shotgun shell. Cost about $8 each. I can stop by tomorrow if you still need help.

FYI: Black Velvet's hubby is an ac guy. Also, La Canada Heating/Air has been around forever-installed my system. Both are good.

Rusty.....thanks for the offer. Am in and
out all day until after 5pm.

I can not find any fuses in the box.....just two copper
prongs. Only box on A/C is the So Cal Edison box.
Did not open it. Anywhere else to look?

Did shut off breaker on electric panel. Did it two
times and still nothing.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I called Black Velvet's husband LaMar yesterday and enjoyed a cool house for the first time in quite a while.

LaMar was quick to make an appointment, communicated the problem well, fixed the problem quickly and charged a fair price. Excellent.
