Population Connection and the Glendale Human Relations Coalition are co-sponsoring a free, public screening of "Mother: Caring for 7 Billion" on Thursday, August 30 starting at 7 pm at the La Crescenta Library, 2809 Foothill Blvd. at the corner of La Crescenta Ave. The Community Room is accessable from the upper parking lot off La Crescenta Ave. There will be light refreshments and a brief discussion following the film. We've gathered snail mail and email addresses for local elected officials in case you feel inspired to contact them after seeing this great film.
