The closet doors rattled and the cat took notice. USGS indicates a 4.1 near Hesperia looks quite close to the San Andreas fault.

8:07 am. Ithas since been downgraded to a 3.8 and I believe it was confirmed on the San Andreas.

The quake was NEAR the San Andreas, not ON the San Andreas. Be careful, there's a difference.

USGS seismologist Lucy Jones tells the Daily News: "It's very clearly not the San Andreas Fault," Jones told KCAL. "It was on the juncture of very many major faults.''
