Does anyone have feedback about this market? Prices, quality, etc. I had one person tell me they have good meat, but I'm curious if anyone else has an opinion. I believe they are located at the corner of Foothill and Apperson.

Yes on Roe Zees. I have only purchased meat and lottery tickets there. Their meat is very good. Pinwheels.

There was a thread a year a so ago about all the liquor stores in the area... Roe Zees has a great butcher counter. City market makes keys, has a fax and copy machine and groceries.. and the liquor store in the Century 21 lot is awesome too. I also stop in at Stans near Mt. Gleason off Foothill. Don't discount them just because their signs say "Liquor Store"

I've been going there for years. They have a butcher, and a nice little selection of meats. I usually get the ranchera meat, it's marinated skirt steak. The teriyaki pinwheels are great.

Thank you for the input. I'll give them a try. I like small markets that have good meat counters. The meat seems better than the major supermarkets. I don't get over there much, but Handys on Magnolia in Burbank and Tony's on Glenoaks in Burbank are good. Tony's has the best pork chops I can find around here. Actually tastes like a pork chop instead of a tasteless piece of white rubber.

I have been going there for years as well . I concur: Good meat counter. Good pinwheel steaks. Very nice people. Kind of a Mexican theme; music, products, etc.

I agree k9friend, their customer base is latino. I love to cook authentic mexican dishes. At Roe Zee's, you can get all the fixin's for a tasty taco night. The also have a small selection of fairly fresh produce. Tomatoes, onions, cilantro, etc. Push your taco night to the limit and add some cerveza, tequila, and a lotto ticket! One stop shopping! :)
