Interesting, when I voted 83% wanted to save the golf course. Wish they could have expanded the section to include why we want to keep the course,,, not that it would have been sent to the city planners. I really enjoy playing there.

Thanks for posting this, Sharon. How did you find the survey? Was it mentioned in the newspaper? I didn't get a chance to read the paper today. I think Mary O'Keefe's article about the July 7 meeting was going to run today. I'm glad Mary has been assigned the golf course and the Draft Environmental Impact Report. Boy, it was a relief to find out we would be able to have the extra 30 days!

Somebody emailed me about it and now I can't find the original message - I thought it was you! I posted announcements in CVH and CVCA Yahoo groups as well as here. Sharon R forwarded it to the VHGC Committee so it's spreading around. This morning the results are up to 86% for Save the Golf Course - what's with that 14% who want to build???

I noticed there's a place to post your comments about the golf course. Any TFFers want to get the ball rolling? The GNP blog hasn't been publicized so nobody knows its there.

Thanks for letting me know where they put the results. I noticed the next poll about Virgil's Hardware getting bought by a chain didn't get nearly as big a response. The current poll is about heroin in CVHS but they spelled it herion!
