sounded like 4 to 5 gunshots around hillrose and sherman grove but not sure because there were fireworks being set off somewhere behind our area as well a short time earlier, did anyone else hear them?

i think i heard it too and couldnt tell if it was shots or fireworks either so i ignored it and went to sleep.

I usually don't do much when I hear a bang as I can pretty much tell the difference, if I hear a series of bangs sometimes I wonder. I can tell if they are too quick next to each other they are firecrackers but when I hear a "slower" constant I know it's either rapid fire or automatic fire. Most of the time around here is firecrackers but we do get the gunshots every so often.

I heard it, too, but I thought it was fireworks.
